The cost of freedom has always been expensive. And Americans since our founding have paid for the liberties we enjoy with blood, sweat, tears, and lives.
The causes haven't always been well understood, and we haven't had to fight for our survival in a long time. But each time we send men and women into harm's way, it is always in defense of our values, our principles, and, of course, freedom.
Too many Americans, however, take their freedom for granted. Worse, they take for granted the men and women who step up, raise their right hands, and take an oath to support and defend this great country -- with their lives, if necessary.
